According to a recent study by the RAND organization, obesity is more damaging to health than smoking, high levels of alcohol drinking, and poverty. Obesity affects all major bodily systems - heart, lung, muscle and bones.

Researchers have associated obesity to more than 30 medical conditions, and many agree that it is strongly related to at least 15 of those conditions.

 

Our goal is to combat obesity and help prevent the associated diseases. Your office visit will include the following:

 Vital Signs: height, weight, blood pressure, pulse

Medical Exam: heart, lungs, thyroid (other if indicated)

Medical Consultation on diet, exercise, lifestyle modifications, medications

Vitamin B complex injection of B6 and B12 to help boost energy levels

Diuretic (water pill) if indicated

12 Lead EKG if indicated

Blood work to test thyroid function if indicated ($25 additional)

Rx for 1 month supply of appetite suppressant as indicated
